Alienware Area-51 X58

This is a short review of the Alienware Area-51 X58. This is one of Alienware's flagship computer models. This computer is using Intel's newest most powerful chip set the i7-965 Extreme 3.2 GHz 8MB cache. Another nice thing about this chip set is that if Intel comes out with a more powerful one you can just go inside the computer and take out the i7 chip set and replace it without any tools. Dual 2GB GDDR5 ATI® Radeon® HD 4870 X2 with CrossFireX™ and Quad GPU Technology is the what graphics cards I chose. This means that this system has the ability to run some of the most advanced games on extremely high resolutions.  With the option to have 12 GB of memory, you will no longer have to question the Multitasking ability. You also have the option of having RAID 0 inside your desktop. Overall, the Alienware is a great buy. Go to their web page and drop 5K or so on this amazing system. www.alienware.com 

Computers: The Name of the Game

When a person thinks of a computer they usually think of the names Dell, Apple, and Hp. But, what they don't think of is that it could be your name up there with the great computer manufacturers. This is because as the computer world starts to grow, more parts have become available for the consumer. Meaning that you can make your own custom computer out of only the parts you want, or need. The adversaries to this idea keep saying, "Oh, but it would be too expensive!" WRONG I priced out a custom computer compared to a Mac Pro, with the specs I wanted, and to my surprise, the custom was over a $1000 cheaper. Another cool thing you could do is have your own custom computer case, not the stock one the manufacturers give. The only problem I could see is that you will need some guidance on how to install the parts into your case. To combat this problem go to youtube or a popular search engine and search for  "How to build a custom computer". From these resources you could make your own computer. (I'm not to beheld responsible for anything that happens or occurs because your computer negligence.) Making your own computer is an overall great idea for anyone who is tired of paying high prices and not getting what you want in your computer.

G.M

The news is here. Unfortunately, Rick Wagner of G.M has been ousted from his position as CEO of G.M. There is an up side and a down side to this fact. The down side is that Rick was a good CEO, but things came up and he had to adjust to shifting times. Which leads us to our good side, the UAW has virtually picked apart G.M, through the CEOs of the company, giving themselves ridiculously high benefits and pay. They make 73 dollars an hour and that is an insane amount of money. That is over a 100,000 dollars per year. This money was sacrificed for the wrong reasons. It was given to people who make the cars not the people who develop them. Thus, leading to inefficient cars and the G.M brand slowly being dirtied. I mean 100,000 dollars per year that is more than one makes at Goldman Sachs (In an annalist position), and for that you had to go to a good college and graduate top of your class. It was very simple for anyone on the outside looking in to see that this would eventually occur. This occurrence was that G.M is in serious trouble because of their inability to foresee that allowing the union to have this much leverage would eventually ruin them. And that was my rant about how G.M failed to see this coming. Truth to be told though, I'm very sorry for Rick because this problem started way before his time.
